RV POLICIES

Reservation, Cancellation and Polices 


By providing your credit card information you agree to the following fees and policies: 


These rules have been established for the safety and enjoyment of our guests. Violations of these rules are grounds for termination of your reservation and removal from the property with no refund. Summer Creek Inn reserves the right to amend these rules without notice. In addition to these stated rules, guests must follow all reasonable directions of SCI staff.


Reservations

Reservations can be made 18 months in advance with a restricted two night minimum and a maximum stay of 30 days. Reservations can be made online through our website. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking and the remainder of the payment will be charged upon arrival. Holidays and special events reservations are nonrefundable, however, with at least seven (7 days’ advance notice, the payment may be transferred to a future reservation within the same calendar year and full payment of reservation is due at time of rescheduling. 


Payments

All payments will be taken through online reservation only. 50% of the reservation will be taken upon making the reservation and the balance due upon arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, cash no checks are accepted. If your initial 50% deposit payment is declined at the time of booking, there will be no reservation made. 


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at minimum fifteen (15) days prior to arrival for a full refund. Any cancellations made within fourteen (14) days of your scheduled arrival date will forfeit a 50% of your reservation amount. If you need to cancel your reservation, please call us at 605-574-4408. No Show - If you do not call or show up by 7:00 PM on the night of your scheduled arrival, your entire reservation is subject to cancellation and the full reservation amount will be due. 


Check In Policy

Upon your arrival check in at the Inn front office. Currently, we do not offer self-check-ins or after-hours options to our guests. While we do understand that with travel comes the unexpected, we also boast a quiet and safe campground. In order for us to make good on this promise to our guests, we ask that all guests try to be checked in between 4pm and 6pm. Please time your drive so that you arrive on time. Early arrival is subject to availability and additional fee. If you are running late, please notify Summer Creek Inn Office @ 605-574-4408


Late Arrivals

Our office closes at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time. We strongly encourage you to schedule your travel day so you arrive in plenty of time to get settled in before it gets dark. We do not allow late arrivals as it is disrupting to our other guests, and it can be difficult finding your way around in the mountains after dark.



Quiet Hours

 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM


Check Out Policy

Check-out is 12pm. Please check out at the front desk before your departure.  Check-out means your campground site must be vacated by no later than 12pm. Late departures are subject to additional fees. We ask that you honor our check-out time promptly to minimize hardship on our staff and the next arriving guests.


Early Departures

All camping charges are paid at check-in. If you choose to depart early, we do not issue refunds for early departure.  Please plan your stay accordingly and review our cancellation policies.


Visitors

  • Visitors to your campsite are required to check in at the office and must depart the property by 10:00 PM
  • Visitors are allowed to use the Inn’s Starlight patio as long as they are accompanied by a registered guest.  Breakfast reservations are open to both camp site guests and their visitors but will need to make a reservation 24 hours in advance. All Beverages consumed on the Inn’s ground must be purchased from the bar. 


​ Additional Guests

  • All regular season rates include 2 guests, additional guests charge of $5 each.
  • All Sturgis Rally rates include 2 guests, additional guests $10 each.
  • All persons must be declared at check-in. 


​Vehicles / Gear

  • Please keep your equipment within your assigned site and clear of roadways. Overflow parking for UTV’S, boats, trailers, and motorcycles is available for an additional fee and based on availability. 
  • Absolutely no vehicle washing or major vehicle servicing on site.


Campfires

  • Each site has two Adirondack chairs and a propane fire table. The propane tank rental is 6.00 per tank. Due to high fire danger, we do not allow any open wood burning fires on sites.
  • Fires out at 11:00 PM


Pets

  • Quiet, well-behaved pets are welcome. You are responsible for your pet and its behavior. If your pet becomes a nuisance, or displays aggressive behavior, you will be asked to take them to a kennel or leave. No refund will be issued.
  • Maximum of 2 Pets allowed.
  • Pets are required to always be on a leash and cleaned up after.
  • If you do not pick up after your pet your card will be billed $10 per incident. 
  • Pets are not allowed in or around the Inn /event buildings or common areas. 
  • Cats are not permitted to roam the park freely.
  • Dogs must be kept on leashes (six-foot maximum length) or inside and may not be left unattended while you are gone for the day.
  • Pit Bulls are not allowed on the premises.
  • No horses in the campground.


Generators

  • Generators are not allowed at any time


Personal UTV Policy

  • Personal UTV Policy If you are bringing your own UTV for your stay at the campground, please visit the site below, to get your trail permit for your UTV(s). Black Hills Badlands will be able to answer any questions you may have about trails in the Black Hills including rules and regulations, ride responsibility.

Campsite Damage Policy

  • Campers may be subject to a damage policy fee pending inspection of the rental site. Your credit card will be charged for sewer spills, damages to park property, and picking up pet waste, left on your site.



Violation Of Policies

  • Any person(s) found in violation of any of these rules may be asked to leave the campground and not return for the rest of the season, no refund. 
  • Any person(s) caught deliberately/ defacing/damaging park facilities / equipment will be removed from and banned from the park, no refund. 
  • Any person(s) who damages or causes infractions of campground rules is subject to be fined.
